Terms of use

The terms for using GentleLibra

Last updated 22 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and RKC Consultancy Ltd ("we", "us"), which provides GentleLibra. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy, which explains how we look after your information.

1. GentleLibra is not medical advice

GentleLibra records what you tell it. It does not give medical advice, and it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.

It never tells you what dose to take or what to do about a missed dose. Those choices come from you and your prescriber. Always follow the advice of your doctor, nurse or pharmacist, and never delay getting advice because of something you saw in the app.

If you feel unwell and need help urgently, call NHS 111. In an emergency, call 999.

2. Estimates and reminders

Some of what the app shows is worked out from what you enter, such as how many doses you have left, when to reorder and which days are due. These are estimates and are only as accurate as your entries. Reminders depend on your phone's settings, battery and notifications, and may not always arrive. Please don't rely on GentleLibra as your only way of keeping track of your treatment.

3. Who can use it

GentleLibra is for adults aged 18 and over. You sign in with your own Google or Apple account, and the account is for you alone.

4. Keeping your account safe

Keep your device and your sign-in account secure, and tell us at support@gentlelibra.com if you think someone else has accessed your GentleLibra account.

Your photos are encrypted with keys that only you hold. Keep your recovery key somewhere safe: if you lose your devices, your passkey and your recovery key, nobody can recover your photos, including us.

5. Your information stays yours

Everything you record belongs to you. You allow us to store and process it only so we can provide GentleLibra to you, as described in the privacy policy. You can delete it, or your whole account, at any time.

6. Using it fairly

Please don't misuse GentleLibra: don't try to access anyone else's account or data, interfere with or overload the service, copy or reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use it for anything unlawful.

7. Changes and availability

We're always improving GentleLibra, so features may change. We'll do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, especially while it's in testing. If we ever plan to close the service, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can save your report first.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using GentleLibra and delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where it's reasonable we'll tell you first.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

Otherwise, we're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for decisions about your health or treatment made by relying on the app instead of professional advice, or for problems caused by your device, your internet connection or services we don't control.

10. App stores

If you download GentleLibra from the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply to the download. Apple and Google aren't responsible for the app or its support; we are.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in the app before any significant change takes effect.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
